Before launching Abbey Sales and Lettings in 2012, Robert worked across Suffolk and Essex for well-known independent, and national estate agencies. With over ten years of experience, Robert oversees both sales and lettings and is the link between the two with much of his time centered around clients who require both. He prides himself on achieving the best attainable price for his clients, and he is often found helping homeowners in considering all of their options, whether that be renting out or selling their homes. He also enjoys working with landlords in creating, or growing their property portfolios and maximising the returns on their investment, and is often out and about on the road tracking down the perfect buy to let investment for them. Outside of work Robert plays tennis and enjoys taekwondo, cooking and spending time with friends and family. He is also learning to play the drums - badly. E-mail Robert

Melissa has been in estate agency for four years and has progressed to being our Sales Manager through hard work and great customer service, all in a relatively short space of time. She enjoys working with her clients right from the initial valuation, to conducting viewings, negotiating offers and helping to progress the sale all the way to the handover of the keys. Melissa will often be found engrossed on the phone, writing e-mails to tie up a sale for another happy seller, or out on the road valuing property and showing viewers around their next dream home. Outside of work Melissa enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her dogs Storm and Ravi and boyfriend Alex. She is also a shopaholic, which is something Alex tolerates. E-mail Melissa

Christina has been in Lettings property management and support roles for three years. She has a passion for handling all of our maintenance and on-going tenancy enquiries, ensuring both landlords and tenants remain happy and informed of the latest progress. She also deals with tenant referencing, insurances, and the processing of rental payments. She is also the fastest typist, using just two fingers, that you will ever see. Outside of work she is a keen runner and has recently completed her first London Marathon in aid of the WWF. When she isn’t pounding the pavements Christina can often be found at various music events and festivals or spending time with her friends. E-mail Christina

Sue has been working at Abbey Sales and Lettings since its launch and has the most varied job role in the office. She is an invaluable member of the team and can be counted on to turn her hand to whatever the task at hand is, while also making sure the office runs like clockwork. Sue also helps to liaise with solicitors and mortgage brokers to push sales that are agreed, through to exchange of contracts. Outside of work Sue enjoys watching ballet – don’t start conversation on the subject unless you have time to spare, alongside opera and often travels to European capitals to watch live performances of both. Laura has recently joined Abbey Sales and Lettings as Lettings Manager after a number of years working in Mildenhall, and is looking forward to getting to know all of our current and future clients and tenants! Laura works with our landlords all the way from discussing the letting of a property with the landlord, through the marketing of their property for a tenant, conducting viewings with suitable tenants and finally negotiating and organising a tenancy between the landlord and tenant. She also oversees the other functions of the lettings department and makes sure everything is running super smoothly and efficiently at all times! She has a wealth of experience dealing with the local USAF market but is equally at home dealing with the mainstream marketplace, so she is no ‘one trick pony’. She does like riding horses in her spare time though, alongside cooking and baking; the produce of which is usually to be found being demolished by the rest of the team in quieter moments. Laura has recently acquired a husband in Nick, who live locally with their border collie Badger. E-mail Laura
